ProTec T1S products are DIN rail mounted products designed in a compact pluggable housing for use as a Class I+II/Type 1+2 Surge Protective Device (SPD ). They can be combined with Type 2 or Type 3 SPDs.
It features Raycap's proprietary Phase-GDT (PGDT) developed to optimize both voltage switching and voltage limiting SPD technologies for high residual voltage or weak follow current rating.
The ProTec T1S uses a multi-cell, encapsulated GDT technology to achieve a residual voltage similar to that of a MOV-based SPD, but its footprint is half the size of the competition in the market and there are no restrictions dictating where it can be installed in a network.
They are IEC Class I and II / EN Type 1 and 2 and UL Type 1CA Recognized Surge Protective Devices ( SPD) offered in a wide range of operating voltages from 75 V to 750 V.
